Friends and associates who know me know that I am a big promoter of continuous learning and self-improvement. Today, I will highlight two Personal Development Spotlights I have posted at the popular new Social Networking site, IM faceplate.

Given my interest in personal development, it comes as no surprise that I also market a particular line of self-improvement products. Recently, I posted an article at IM faceplate, the exciting new Social Networking site, on the topic of “article writing for Internet Marketing.” My purpose was to share some insight with fellow marketers and also to work on branding myself.

Article Marketing is an important part of Internet Marketing success and it is a key element of building your brand online. IM faceplate is developing into an excellent place to brand yourself. Friends, readers, entrepreneurs … lend me your ears … um, I mean, your eyes! I have something wonderful to share with you and I have a recommendation, if you are interested in the benefits of a Friendly Entrepreneur Community where you can exchange ideas, insight and marketing information.

One of the key ways to apply Affiliate Power to your Internet Marketing business is through Social Networking. Some online marketers may not realize that you can do Social Networking with music.

I am active as a Twitter member and through Twitter I was introduced to a great online music sharing site called Blip.fm. My Blip.fm user name is BlipStarr.

Blip.fm allows members to access and listen to millions of songs FREE, posted by members. The Blip.fm Terms of Use outline exactly how songs can be added to the Blip.fm playlist with due and proper respect to the legalities of copyright.

Basically, once you become a member, you have your very own Internet radio station where you choose the songs you wish to listen to. Also, you can “blip” or “reblip” your favourite tunes so other members can listen to them as well. It’s all very easy to set up and quick and easy to do once it is set up.

Here’s where the “Social Networking with music” part comes in. In your Blip.fm profile, you can include a link to your personal or Internet Marketing website. As you become active as a member of Blip.fm and fellow members get to know you, they will be interested in knowing more about you, so some of them will click your web link to find out “what you do.”

Additionally, you can set your Blip.fm station to automatically send your music blips to other Social sites like Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr and more. This will increase your exposure across many platforms and the whole idea behind Social Networking for your Internet Marketing business is to expand your presence on the Net.
