GT Bulmer | Internet Home Business GT Bulmer © Affiliate Power Central

Hey, friends and readers, you may (or may not) have noticed that I haven’t posted here for a few weeks. It’s not that I have lost interest in my Internet Home Business, no not in the least. It’s just that I have been very busy offline.

You may (or may not) know that I am a home based freelance writer in addition to building an Internet Marketing business. I have a few local corporate clients for whom I write content: some every few months, some a few times a year, and one contract that involves a major annual event that consumes much of my time and attention for approximately two months, mid-April to mid-June.

This year, it just so happened that ALL of these projects came together at about the same time! It’s amazing what a person can get done, under the gun, when time is at a premium.

Well, I’m not out of the water yet …

I finished one project at the end of April and another at the end of May. The major annual project will wrap up and be finished this coming Saturday. And I’ve just begun the next project for my bi-monthly client! Whew!

The content I produce for each of these clients is exactly the kind of material I like to write. Much of it involves highlighting the stories, experiences and background of the subjects of the articles, and it is all inspiring and uplifting. Some of the other content has more of a news type of focus, but I get to focus on the positive aspects of the news, rather than on the sensational and controversial aspects which always makes somebody mad at the writer. I want to inspire people, not anger them.

I have been fortunate to attract the kind of clients who want the kind of content I like to write. For this reason, when they want material and when their deadlines are approaching, I am compelled to make their projects a top priority.

It’s not that I have lost interest in my Internet Home Business by any means. It just demonstrates one of the best things about building a home-based business: you can work at your own pace, doing the kinds of things you want to do, when you want to do them. Your online business might slow down a bit when you are away from it, but it is always there to return to and you can always build it back up when you once again focus on it. Give me another couple of weeks and “I’ll be back!
