Friends and associates know me as an avid promoter of personal development tips to help a person achieve more in their life, easier and faster. I’ve always believed that when you improve yourself, everything else falls into place.

Visitors to my websites will probably notice that I highlight Brian Tracy as a preferred source for personal development resources and inspiration. Sometimes, I think I am my own best customer! My library contains many of Brian’s great products.

Although one of my favourites is The New Psychology of Achievement audio program, in truth, I value every one of Brian’s resources and draw value from each whenever I take time to revisit them.

One common theme throughout all of Brian’s materials is the importance of time management and the practice of discipline. That will be the focus of this blog post. …

In fact, one of my favourite Brian Tracy quotes is his definition of self discipline. Brian says, “Self discipline is the ability to make yourself do what you should do when you should do it, whether you feel like it or not.”

In one of Brian’s newsletters, and included with some of his personal achievement tips, is a powerful formula that anybody can use anywhere, anytime to create focus and accelerate their success. He refers to this formula as the “Seven Steps to Success.”

I’m not going to repeat the descriptions and examples that Brian gives for each of the seven steps, but I will list the steps here for the benefit and reference of my readers. And I will encourage you to look into Brian’s materials because without question, if you take his recommendations to heart and apply them, you will achieve more, faster than you ever thought possible.

Here are Brian Tracy’s Seven Steps to Success:

Personal Development Tips1) Decide what you want.

2) Write it down.

3) Set a deadline.

4) Make a list (of things you can do to move closer to the goal).

5) Organize your list.

6) Take action.

7) Do something every day.

Brian says, “Do something every single day that moves you in the direction of your most important goal at the moment.”

I have only provided the list here, but in Brian’s materials, he elaborates on each of these steps and inspires you with the knowledge and confidence to effectively put each one of the steps into daily action. Hopefully, even just reading and referring to the list will encourage you to take the necessary steps to become better disciplined in all of your activities and Internet Marketing efforts.

I recommend Brian’s audio program, The New Psychology of Achievement, as a perfect resource for the purpose.

Whether you check out the products I promote on my websites or you look elsewhere for personal development tips to help you achieve more, I recommend strongly that you refocus your commitment to time management and the practice of greater self discipline.
