The week before last, it was my pleasure to be part of a three day event recognizing the achievement of some highly motivated and dedicated individuals: graduation ceremonies for adult students who earned graduate and undergraduate degrees through distance education.

Honoured at this event were about 400 grads that travelled from across the country and around the world to attend the ceremony. Thousands more were not able to attend.

My role in this event allowed me to take a close look at the challenges and highlights of each of the nearly 400 who attended. This intimate review of their stories was both humbling and inspiring. Hey, friends and readers, you may (or may not) have noticed that I haven’t posted here for a few weeks. It’s not that I have lost interest in my Internet Home Business, no not in the least. It’s just that I have been very busy offline.

You may (or may not) know that I am a home based freelance writer in addition to building an Internet Marketing business. I have a few local corporate clients for whom I write content: some every few months, some a few times a year, and one contract that involves a major annual event that consumes much of my time and attention for approximately two months, mid-April to mid-June.

This year, it just so happened that ALL of these projects came together at about the same time! It’s amazing what a person can get done, under the gun, when time is at a premium.
